As you’re probably aware, I haven’t spent that much time lately on this little corner of cyberspace I call home. Meatspace concerns have weighted down my time for research and writing, and have sapped my energy in the five-plus years since the cancer first struck.
I’m fine, as of this posting. But lately, work has become more hectic and demanding (they keep promoting me, the bastards). What’s worse, a loved one’s recent illness has taken up my time and attention over the past couple of months. So, I’ve kinda dried up lately.
There are still stories that I want to tell, and many more I’m looking into, although not with the same vigor and dedication that brought The X-Spot to life back in 2006.
I’m not saying goodbye. It’s just that I’m in need of a sabbatical. I’ve been dreaming about starting a podcast for a while, now, but I haven’t gotten it all together yet. Most likely, the blog will continue as an adjunct to that if I ever get that off the ground. If not, I’m still wont to post from time to time. Just not as frequently (if that’s possible).
Thank you for being here and keeping me company. I hope to see you again some day, in some setting. Until then, keep the faith.
